TRi KiDS Triathlons are non-competitive, safe events designed for 3-15 year olds. We promote and celebrate participation in three fun 'lifestyle' sports; swimming, biking and running.

Our philosophy is one of complete not compete. Focusing on the achievement of each young individual, our goal is to inspire self-confidence and motivate kids to stay active through sport.

We believe every kid needs to participate in activities that provide a positive experience, an experience where trying your best is the only expectation. We create memorable events where the participants are the focus and their accomplishment is celebrated by their family and friends, our volunteers and us. Whether they are 3 or 15 years old each TRi KiDS athlete becomes aware of their potential and develops the "Shoot For The Moon" attitude!

The distance each participant completes will be based on their age on December 31, 2010 . They start off with a swim in the indoor (and outdoor) pool and then head off on the traffic-free bike and run course. All that’s required is a swim suit, a bike in good working order, a helmet, running shoes and a bunch of enthusiasm.  Family and friends won't want to miss this!

Each participant receives a unique TRi KiDS race t-shirt, a swim cap, a race kit and a finishers medal. Most importantly, each one is awarded a healthy boost of self-esteem and an experience to last a lifetime.

Three of our four races sold out last year prior to registration closing. We had over 1700 kids participate and $17,000 was raised for the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO).

Registration

Registration fees are $40 per participant.  A $5 discount per child (for second and third child) is offered for families registering two or more children. Families must register at the same time to receive the discount.

Specifically:

• Family with 2 children participating:  1st child $40, second child $35 - total =$75
• Family with 3 children participating:  1st child $40, 2nd child $35, 3rd child $35 - total =$110

GET YOUR NAME ON YOUR RACE BIB by registering before midnight JUNE 4th, 2010. 

Online registration CLOSES on June 10th, 2010 at midnight!  Registrations will be accepted on Saturday, June 12th at race kit pick up only if space is available. The registration fee on race kit pick up day is $50 per participant and no family discounts are available. Sorry, we will not be able to accept registrations on race day.  Also, we regret we will not refund an entry fee if your child is unable to participate.

Please note that shirt sizes are available while quantities last. Your selection on the registration form is only used as a guideline. 

Why register before online deadline?

• if the race has reached its capacity you may not get to race
• athletes will be assigned to the last wave in his/her age group
• no guarantee of a race t-shirt
• $10 will be added to the registration fee, with no family discount
• registration fees on race day will be accepted as cash or cheque only

To help support the parents and children who see the world like we do, Spoke O'Motion will be providing FREE safety inspections at our store for two weeks prior to the event. We will also be on-site to help address and last-minute technical issues to help ensure everyone has the time of their lives.
