Made with the same top-shelf aluminum alloy to the same exacting fit and tolerance as the rest of our socket range, these sockets won't chew up your shiny new bottom bracket.

This is an add-on kit for the popular Abbey Bike Tools Modular bearing press, adding even more versatility for the modern mechanic to deal with all the different shapes, sizes, and styles. The kit includes drifts for all common bearing sizes with a bearing inner diameter (ID) of 15mm or larger. Includes the over-axle drifts required to install bearings in DT, Zipp, and other modern captured bearing hubs. These drifts feature a 1/2" (12.7mm) ID and can be used with other presses if need be. We went through extra steps to make this tool half precision measuring instrument and half pry bar. - Tolerances as tight as a quarter of a thousandth of an inch (.0063mm) in some critical dimensions of this tool. - Ability to lock in the feeler so you don't have to second-guess your measurement after bumping it on the tire. - Top half of tool will rotate out of the way of fender stays and frame tubes. - Feeler gauge stick stores inside the top half of the tool, very handy for the traveling mechanic. - T-bolt extends past the tool for access to those problematic hangers found on some modern full suspension bikes. - Compact at just under 11" ( 28cm) - Re-buildable - While ideally your HAG should be sent back for a rebuild, it is possible to do them in the field by replacing the brass bushing in the T-Bolt. - Compatible with the three most common wheel sizes (26, 27.5/650B, and 700/29)

This socket features a threaded boss to allow you to bolt the tool into place when dealing with these exceptionally thin tool interfaces. This is a feature unique to our tools that adds a layer of protection and security to your parts and tools.

These gems are machined to precisely fit the preload adjuster cap on all modern 24mm spindle Shimano cranks. The finger spline offers good leverage to install, remove, or adjust the preload cap. We also added a 5mm hex in the center should you need a little extra leverage that a hex key provides. These are also compatible with our fit kits and with the addition of a saddle height bullet can be used to more accurately measure saddle height.

This tool is compatible with all outboard bearing cups that our dual-sided Shimano socket doesn't fit, including Campagnolo, SRAM, FSA, and older Shimano. These gems start as a 7075 aluminum billet and get precisely machined. We take the time to put some nice deep finger splines in this tool so you can thread the cup into the frame by hand with those greasy fingers you haven't washed in a while. - Hard anodized and laser-engraved with torque specs. - Use your favorite 3/8" square drive ratchet or torque wrench to tighten it down.

Suspension service is a specialty within bicycle repair, and it takes specialized tools to perform this work. One of the things that any factory tech will tell you is nice to have are sockets specifically made or altered for the low profile hex on the top of each fork leg. The lead-in or chamfer on a standard socket will greatly decrease the contact between tool and part and can easily scratch or deform those nuts. For years shops have been grinding down their sockets to remove the chamfer. The problem is that you're still often left with a loose-fitting socket that is still prone to chewing up those delicate parts. That's why we started from scratch. We made our sockets from billet aluminum to exacting tolerances to keep these parts in good shape. Fully CNC-machined with zero lead-in, they make the specialty that is suspension service a little bit easier. They feature a 3/8" square drive for use with your favorite torque wrench as well as finger splines to help run the top caps into the fork legs with those oil soaked hands.
