Take to the streets with comfort, performance, and style aboard the Malahat hybrid bike, and enjoy the ride wherever you choose to go. Fast-rolling 700c wheels with wide tires provide ample traction to take this aluminum frame over urban streets and gravel pathways, and the suspension fork offers extra cushion for less fatigue and more enjoyment on longer rides. The Shimano 21-speed drivetrain makes climbing hills a breeze and keeps you moving briskly on flat ground, while large, easy-to-squeeze brake levers offer confident control when you need it. Dialing-in the perfect fit is easy with the adjustable stem and high-rise handlebar, reducing stress on your back and shoulders, while the large Selle Royal saddle is loaded with comfortable support.

    Comments:

I ride daily to work about 10 km each way and it carries my lunch and change of clothes very well with rear panniers attached. I love how I can ride it sitting straight up and high off the ground. It has front shocks which is great. The stock seat is very comfortable. It is fairly slow compared to other hybrids as it is only a 21 speed and other hybrids I've seen are 27 speeds. The brakes are also fairly sketchy. Overall I would recommend this bike as it is very reasonable for the price.

      Comments:

I bought this bike after looking at a large number that had some but not all the features I wanted. The Malahat was just right for me: quick release wheels, seat post suspension, trigger shifters, adjustable stem, and fork shock suspension. I use this bike on bicycle paths and uneven roads and it takes light hills and bumps without any bother. Great for exercise and recereation.

      Comments:

I do not use bikes as a pro but, I use this bike everyday to go school or take some fresh air. Many people want to go faster and buy a superpro bike but really if you want to go faster use your car. I like to exercise my body for 2h and this bike keep me comfortable the 2h not like my old mountain bike.
