Details

Unlike Governor Ratcliffe, you won't be needing any witless peasants to help you dig up gold. Nope, the Aurum C7.1 is more than capable of capturing one of those illustrious yellow discs, what with its tight-controlling full-carbon frame that weighs about as much as a handful of corn husks and a Rockshoxx Boxxer World Cup fork with 200mm of bob-and-weave trail-managing suspension. Gravity Tune Geometry positions you exactly where you need to be and ensures the Aurum will handle just as spectacularly whether you're built like Percy or Pocahontas. Rely on 200 more millimeters of A.R.T suspension to bring you just around the trail-bend, so you've no need to choose the smoothest course, ever! When a hair-split of a second can be the difference between victory and defeat, you can depend on faster-rolling, better-cornering 650B carbon rims from ENVE, and better-adhering Magic Mary tires to get the job done. A 7-speed SRAM X01 setup provides precisely the gearing you need and not a cassette tooth more, and Guide RSC brakes have 200mm of SWEET-LORD-STOP-ME-NOW rotor space ready to piston-punch you to safety. A shorty-short 35mm stem and 800mm carbon bar from RaceFace provide exactly the spec you require to do things on your bicycle that would make any sensible mother gasp. So, get out on the Aurum C7.1 ENVE: because at least you're not cliff diving with raccoons.

Norco adhered to a strict design philosophy to realize their goal of producing a highly efficient carbon structure. Simplified tube cross sections meet and blend seamlessly with one another at all junctions. Norco's SmoothCore mandrels enable them to maintain precise control over the inner surfaces of the frame, particularly critical at complicated, high stress areas like the head tube and bottom bracket junctions. Their ArmorLite resin enhances frame strength and impact resistance, resulting in the toughest, most resilient DH frame Norco has ever made.
